STORY David Cameron blew an estimated £60,000 chartering a luxury private jet for his trip to Albania. It was on the ground for 89 minutes before he was called back to London to watch a damp Rishi Sunak call the election. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Tomorrow, the Tories are going to promise to spend money that simply is not there. Britain can’t risk another five years under the Tories.

He’s on quite a run, the Chancellor. Yesterday he shredded the Tory manifesto. Today he says the country isn’t grateful enough for the Tories’ “superb record”. You have a chance to express your appreciation on 4th July. Vote Labour! 🌹

I saw the ending from Breakfast at Tiffany's on here earlier, and it struck me that the young George Peppard is the spitting image of England's Conor Gallagher. Which means the old Conor Gallagher will look like Hannibal from the A-Team.

Proud to have served once again as Emily Thornberry ‘s election agent. It was a great honour to work with her over the campaign. She will be a loss to the new government but will always be a great servant to our constituency, our country and our party.

Lest we forget, the same Team Badenoch denying that they leaked her remarks to the Shadow Cabinet were also responsible for this all-time great denial in January saying they didn't know how Liz Truss's lobbying letter on exports to China had slipped into the public domain.

I was the first and only Emily ever elected to parliament. The only one that is, until last Thursday. Now, finally, there are two of us! 🌹🌹

There is nothing odd in this. She asks for the rarely-used Buddhist text, but then has to point out to the clerks that she will use the affirming language while holding it, because Buddhists tend not to swear oaths on their text. So it's a little complicated but nothing strange.

As of today, and obviously until tomorrow, we've only had one session of PMQs in the last 104 days. Surely that's a record? There were 69 days between PMQs sessions either side of the 2019 election, but I can't think of any other period where the gap(s) would have been that long.
