Wish I could have been there to join in the protest outside the Dáil today. PhD researchers across Ireland are at a breaking point, unable to keep up with the cost of living on stipends which leave us earning well below minimum wage. Immediate action is needed.

€500 won't help PhDs not funded by SFI/IRC - half of PhDs. PhDs have no access to other budget measures as they are not recognized as workers. PCAU will continue to fight for a stipend of 28K for ALL and a transition to an employment model for PhDs #Budget2023Ireland #PhDRights
