As artists and designers, Year 2 created their own unique superhero structure from wire. The children bent, twisted and shaped their wire before adding modelling clay. This was part of their Kapow Primary sculpture and mixed media unit. #ConfidentIndividuals
Amber Class visited Peterborough Cathedral to learn about ‘our city’. Not only did they learn about the history of Peterborough and the cathedral, but also the geography through studying maps and aerial photographs. They also made some magnificent cathedral artwork!
Today, Year 2 took part in a ‘Great Fire of London’ workshop with Lou from The National Archives Education Service . As historians, the children studied a range of artefacts to find out in detail about the fire. They used their detective skills to learn about London in 1666. #AspireandAchieve
Thank you to a Eric and and Steve, our Sustrans East @Sustrans officers, who ran a Dr Bike, in school today. They were kept busy pumping up tyres and checking brakes and saddles. #HappyandHealthy #SustainableTravel
Our Times Tables Rock Stars day was a huge success! Children from Year 2- Year 6 classes battled it out to win prizes and more importantly, improve their TT Rockstar skills. Meanwhile Our EYFS and Year 1 classes earnt NumBots (Rusty) 💎 rewards! #Primarymaths #AspireandAchieve #ConfidentIndividuals

Key Stage 1 visited St Luke’s RC Church - Peterborough to learn about what can be found inside a church. Father Jeffrey taught the children about each part of the church and answered all their questions.
