At #HRC56, 🇩🇰, on behalf of the Group of Friends of #Accountability Following the Aggression Against #Ukraine, condemned Russia’s deadly missile strikes against Ukraine on July 8th, destroying hospitals & killing dozens of civilians, including many children.

Today is #WorldHumanitarianDay and 75 years of IHL to protect civilians and aid workers. Still 2023 was the deadliest year for humanitarians and 2024 could be even worse. We need to ensure protection of civilians, including humanitarians, in conflict zones. #ActForHumanity

Denmark supports @IFRC’s Disaster Response Emergency Fund w. DKK 35 M. IFRC-DREF provides critical rapid support for local response to climate and weather related shocks, providing vulnerable communities with humanitarian aid and anticipatory action.
