So it looks like Bama played UConn tougher and closer than Purdue…or anyone else in the tournament. Hell of a run this year and will only get better. Congrats UConn for back-to-back championships

If Nate Oats can grab someone like a Klingan or Edey it’ll be the missing piece.
If they can get the calls, too, so much the better

Bama gave UConn a better game than they’ve had all tournament. UConn is a great team but Bama can be damn proud of this showing. It won’t be the last time they’re here

There it is - direct quote. I think the reason many take offense to Coach Saban’s message is that it’s the new generation. People want the reward without earning it. He (and many of us) are of an age & time where if you wanted the reward you worked hard to achieve it. Period

Here you folks. Kirby, Deion, Saban - pick one - the message is the same. You can hate Coach Saban but he hasn’t been wrong yet. He can actually see there’s a forest and not just trees

If you need to fully understand the “why’s” of Nick Saban’s comments, listen to someone who has firsthand knowledge. 💯

If you think the Portal and NIL without guardrails is a good idea, I guarantee player development will suffer. The results of that will eventually carry over to the NFL and their product. Unlimited money & transfers with no rules is a recipe for disaster. It needs to be fixed

Hey NewTek - now Vizrt - this is who represents your company? A guy that goes after a woman’s son who died and was revered by his school and fanbase all in the interest of a ‘rivalry’? Maybe do better background checks. Not sure this is the look you want. He’d be gone if he worked for me

This 💯- this man and this team are locked in. The beauty of it is how many teams will sorely underestimate them. Hard to beat a team with this attitude

His legacy, along with several others, will forever be as one of the leaders that bridged the gap between the Saban and DeBoer eras. “If they ain’t wearing crimson…”

I won’t say the NIL situation is ruining the sport we all love…but I can’t wait until some of these kids get to the Combine in 3-4 years and expect someone to pay them $100K to run the 40 or go through drills

A lot of people questioning Coach DeBoer on the Sayin/Mack thing. People want to compare and say Sayin is ‘generational’ and he had elite offers (he did). Maybe we check out the offers below for a dude named AJ McCarron. Might remember him - back to back NC’s sound familiar?

I’ve never coached D1 football so I’ve got to trust that Coach DeBoer and staff know what they’re doing. If Greg Byrne and Nick Saban think he’s the man, I support it. Players may leave but that means even Saban’s input didn’t help with them. Guys, even OSU hired BOB. We’re good

I know I’ve seen others say it but this entire change should weed out those ‘fans’ that jumped on the CNS wagon. The formula hasn’t changed - support the coaches and the young men that decided to stay, build their legacy, and continue the brand. Bama is Where Legends Are Made
