#EDH5309 Week 3, Prompt 2 One software that I swear by is #OneDrive! Not only does it work with Office Suite, but you can share documents, folders and connect computers you use regularly through it so you never lose any data!

#EDH5309 Week 3, Prompt 1 Hearing the words "digital proximate" and "volume shooter" from Jon McBride was one of the most empowering and reflective parts of an already great panel. Jon McBride would you have any tips on how to be intentional on being "digitally proximate"?

#EDH5309 W4 P1: Tyler Thomas, MA had one of the best quotes that I think higher ed offices could reflect on: "“To me, when we start throwing out tactical things, it’s just a distraction from what the actual goal is…”

#EDH5309 W4 P2: The work for marketing at an HEI should be on all parties. While standards can come primarily from centralized forces (like a marketing dept. or committee), standards and expectations should be created for every other dept. to follow.

#EDH5309 W5 P1: Looking back at #LeadershipEssentials, I've learned that I need to carve my way to success! Through Twitter and actively using it in the class, I think that I can be successful at engaging others online in leadership education!

#EDH5309 W6 P1: Two big thematic takeaways I have is the future of higher education will strongly incorporate tech and we need to start working smarter, not harder. I plan to incorporate more technology in my classes as part of assignments and participation, like a Twitter chat.

#EDH5309 W6 P2: Kristin LaRiviere, thank you and the authors for writing “Protest: Critical lessons of using digital media for social change”. The article was very helpful in my Tech in HE course and for providing insight on digital student organizing that is still relevant today!
