#EDH5309 W4 P1: Tyler Thomas, MA had one of the best quotes that I think higher ed offices could reflect on: "“To me, when we start throwing out tactical things, it’s just a distraction from what the actual goal is…”

#EDH5309 W4 P2: The work for marketing at an HEI should be on all parties. While standards can come primarily from centralized forces (like a marketing dept. or committee), standards and expectations should be created for every other dept. to follow.

#EDH5309 W5 P1: Looking back at #LeadershipEssentials, I've learned that I need to carve my way to success! Through Twitter and actively using it in the class, I think that I can be successful at engaging others online in leadership education!

#EDH5309 W6 P1: Two big thematic takeaways I have is the future of higher education will strongly incorporate tech and we need to start working smarter, not harder. I plan to incorporate more technology in my classes as part of assignments and participation, like a Twitter chat.
