Game week 3 this Saturday a warning already from the league that parks pitches will be off because of rain. Wk1 no game either, long grass. Pitches sitting there in excellent condition all summer, still can’t see any argument again shifting the seasons to summer

First win of the season for us 3-2 in the cup against a tough rumney side from a couple of divs below We sorted ourselves out in the second half with squad players make up our 10 men yesterday

With the weather looking grim again this will be 7 weeks without a competitive fixture for us Grassroots football in Wales is broken Shift the seasons now, start earlier, end later, there are not enough 3G pitches & never will be FA WALES Adapt and change

You just have to look at all my previous posts on this matter Until facilities improve this is the only option Cricket isn’t an argument, plenty of football pitches sit unused over the summer And you could play both, if not the kids just have to choose

Lovely friendly today vrs a good Gwealod team. Great to get a win against many of their school mates, but attitude was ace again today after a tough season in the top league so far Dai Iawn bois

Still without a league win in the tough A division this season but improving week on week. Came up against a good Llanrumney United Juniors side, 3rd in the league, and put up a fight, but some good goals in the second half from them made the final score 4-1

Great to get our first league points today but the boy’s attitude all season has been superb and just as proud of them for that Nice make do away kit today too 😅

Still smiling Still together after the hardest season yet The boys were amazing today loosing just 2-0 to 3rd placed Thornhill and if we are honest that scoreline flattered them After a couple of recent batterings it was great to see how well they all played

A tough slog this season but the boys deserved their day

Question Couldn’t the 3G pitch at Trelai park just be made bigger to become a full size, plenty of space around it that is just sitting there doing nothing
