A Met-led, multi-agency operation closed down a phishing website responsible for mass fraud.

We worked with partners across the UK and abroad including National Crime Agency (NCA), City of London Police and Europol to target individuals suspected of owning and using the phishing website LabHost.

The Met Police Cyber Protect and Prepare Team will be at the UK Cyber Week Expo on 17th and 18th April at Olympia in London. If you are planning to be there, be sure to visit our stand.

Operation Henhouse 3, a month-long intensification on fraud, which we coordinated along with the NCA, has resulted in a record number of arrests and seizures.

An undercover operation has led to the conviction of phone scammers who tricked pensioners into handing over their bank cards before draining their accounts.
