The museum is currently trying to add to its collection of 1935-1955 Officer’s Dress Uniforms. If anyone has such uniforms they would be willing to loan or donate to the museum we would be delighted to display them with the appropriate acknowledgment

#OnThisDay 1916 Roger Casement was hanged for High Treason in Pentonville Prison, London. Casement was arrested for gun smuggling for the rebels for the Easter Rising. He was the last of the Rising leaders to be executed. His remains were repatriated in 1965. #Ireland #History
