We welcomed an estimate 450 people to our carols earlier this week. Humbled by the community’s generosity for the food bank collection. It filled a plumbers van and a family car to the gunnels! Thanks and merry Christmas from all at Cullercoats RNLI

It's history in the making for Cullercoats Lifeboat as their first all female crew raced to the rescue. Anna, Hannah, Rose & Sarah had their inaugural launch authorised by Kay - meaning that all operational and management roles were undertaken by women. 🙌 #RNLI #GirlPower

Finished my edits from this lunchtime's Naming Ceremony for the new lifeboat donated to Cullercoats Lifeboat RNLI - it was well organised and quite a moving service. Still don't know why these hero's aren't paid. Few of my favs, finished off with a bit of champagne Christening!

What’s that I hear you say? ’When is our world famous harbour day?’ (and it is world famous - I have friends in Scotland!) Well the date for your diaries is: 12th August 2023 from 10:00am So come along for a day of family fun in the sun, support your lifeboat volunteers!

We know times are hard but we’d be so appreciative of any donations for the bottle stall, tombola or raffle prizes if you can spare anything. The boat house is open from 5pm on Wednesdays and 9am on Sundays to drop anything off. All donations will help us to save lives at sea.
