The Dip Club raised a cool (or should that be cold?) £1765 for Cullercoats RNLI, helping us save lives at sea in North Tyneside and beyond!

We know times are hard but we’d be so appreciative of any donations for the bottle stall, tombola or raffle prizes if you can spare anything.

The boat house is open from 5pm on Wednesdays and 9am on Sundays to drop anything off. All donations will help us to save lives at sea.

Today we welcome RNLB Daddy’s Girl to Cullercoats in the official naming ceremony and dedication. Although a ticketed event you are welcome to join us on the beach and see the new boat in action!

Congratulations to David who after years of training passed out as a competent crew member on Sunday! Very well done David, we know how hard you worked to achieve this. It’s important to thank everyone who has supported him on his journey, from shy 17 year old to lifesaver.

It's history in the making for Cullercoats Lifeboat as their first all female crew raced to the rescue. Anna, Hannah, Rose & Sarah had their inaugural launch authorised by Kay - meaning that all operational and management roles were undertaken by women. 🙌

We welcomed an estimate 450 people to our carols earlier this week. Humbled by the community’s generosity for the food bank collection. It filled a plumbers van and a family car to the gunnels! Thanks and merry Christmas from all at Cullercoats RNLI

It’s our carol service on Monday 19th from 7:30pm. We’ve never asked for donations - but this year feels a bit different. The volunteers are doing a food bank collection - if you could spare a tin or two there will be a drop off location in the boathouse. Thanks, Cullercoats RNLI

Tonight we prepare to say goodbye to RNLB Hylton Burdon as she leaves for the relief fleet tomorrow. The new kid on the block is RNLB Daddy’s Girl!

It is FREEZING today. If you're cold, come in to the Turks. You don't need to buy something to come into a pub. The fires are on, we've got books, games, magazines, telly and WiFi. Even if you're just waiting for the 306, consider us a gigantic well tiled bus stop.
