ADOPTED: the Security Council has passed a UK-led resolution demanding the Rapid Support Forces immediately stop the siege of El Fasher, Sudan. An attack on the city would be catastrophic for the 1.5 million Sudanese civilians sheltering there.

The UK will support up to 150,000 Sudanese refugees in Libya. Alongside international partners, this emergency funding will deliver much-needed health, water, and hygiene support. This government is committed to modernising our international development approach.
