According to FAO Representative @crispim_moreira, Food Loss and Waste Index "enables us to quantitatively assess the extent of food loss and waste across our agricultural supply chain – from the fields where our farmers toil, to the plates of our consumers".

Ahead of the Inception workshop tomorrow, the Project Steering Committee for the #GCF project to reduce #deforestation and #forestdegradation 🌲in The Bahamas held its first meeting.

The inception workshop will chart a project roadmap for the country to develop long-term strategy to build local capacity for more sustainable forest 🌳🌳🌳and land use activities la which promote climate adaption and mitigation.
