To mark national #NoSmokingDay , I spent the morning with Make Smoking History | Greater Manchester and Hits Radio at a school in Bolton talking to pupils about the risks of smoking and youth vaping.
The students also had a masterclass in script writing and got to make their own radio adverts! 🎙️🎧
Today, we joined ASH in Parliament to mark the 40th anniversary of #NoSmokingDay to show our support for a #SmokefreeGeneration

In #CountyDurham , 894 people die each year from causes linked to smoking. And now the county’s Health and Wellbeing Board has agreed to support the government’s Stopping the Start plan to create a #smokefreegeneration , including increasing the age of sale.
