Our winter league has been running for 55 years and last night we had the presentation for this year’s ‘Wehrly Brothers Winter League’ Congrats to overall winners, Niall Davey and Gerry Fox. They received their prize from Captain Jim Flood and sponsor, Tony Wehrly.

This is amateur golf & it might seem on the one hand idyllic & niche but at the heart of this is a duel of high sporting endeavour after 5 days of competition. I don’t cover enough of it but I’ve covered a lot over the years. Male or female, it’s arguably the purest form of golf.
