First time in Idaho and what a beautiful state! Saw this “carry on” item on my early morning flight. I guess it expedites ground transportation at ones destination. Being in TX I shouldnt be surprised but the Chicago guy in me is thinking “does Uber have a HORSE option”?

Dr. Eddie Hackler III Vericiguat has a class 2b indication in the US #heartfailure guidelines. First focus on class 1 indicated quadruple therapy (ARNI, BB, MRA, SGLT2i). That's hard enough to achieve by itself... I have yet to ever prescribe vericiguat. 🤷

Here’s a great introduction to cardiogenomic testing . Time for the greater cardiology community to consider and recognize these possibilities. You’ve seen them whether you realize it or not.

Well, found a little Chicago in San Antonio. Yeah a great dog (and the Italian beef really good too). Admittedly not endorsing dietary choices but as we know in HF, QOL really matters!! Good luck finding a breakfast taco in the Windy City tho…

I’m such a geek for the history of medicine. It’s such a privilege to be walking the halls of NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where visionaries of critical care cardiology once stood!

Happy to welcome friend and colleague Dr. John Ryan to UTHSCSA yesterday. Enjoyed his great lectures and the opportunity to catch up. Recalled some great stories from Chicago days.

Accurately updating a problem list should be a quality metric. 1000X more important for clinical care than the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit.

🚨#BREAKING: Trump just admits on live tv that "SOMETHING HIT" LA and caused the fires. ⚠️"It looks like...I don't want to say what it looks like." ⚠️"We won't talk about what HIT IT." ⚠️"It is a bad bad situation." What do you think he's referring to?
