Honoured to present the opening keynote at #beaverconference23. Much wisdom shared at this important meeting on the benefits of having these animals back in the landscape, including for Nature recovery. Risks need to be managed but upsides outweigh negatives, including for fish.

This is one of several other fenced beaver sites in Cornwall. Higher up in a river catchment so a narrower valley floor than at Woodland Valley Farm. Unbelievably the beavers at this site have a taste for laurel and seek it out!! What is that about?🤔
