A few thoughts on the author's lack of MOTU understanding: -MOTU has ALWAYS shown that Adam is the true hero. He's the beating heart of He-Man's heroism. Adam put others before himself. Adam put Eternia before himself. Breaking his own Sword to avoid becoming a tyrant.

- MOTU has ALWAYS understood the "nuances of feminine strength and leadership." Teela is a primary character. One of the "MOTU Trinity." Captain, future Sorceress of Grayskull, & future Queen of Eternia. She trained Adam, teaching him many of the values he exemplifies as He-Man.

In summation, the author asserts that MOTU is about muscles and violence, ignoring the nuance of Prince Adam as the hero at He-Man's core. If He-Man is only about "smashing Skeletor's skull with a sword," then they haven't been paying attention for the past 40 years.
