Finally, some see first/last in Chicago is O'Hare Intl. Airport. A handy Loop map w points of interest is on inside cover and final shots are Buckingham Fountain and a night view of downtown. That’s a lot of souvenir #Chicago for a couple bucks in 1976! Hope you enjoyed this look back!

As Cook County Government celebrates #blackhistorymonth2023 we honor some of the most consequential African Americans to play leadership roles in Cook County. The first Black elected official in Illinois history was @cookcountyboard Commissioner John Jones.

It’s #WomensHistoryMonth2023 in Cook County Government spotlighting women who provided leadership to Cook County throughout our history. Banners here were from 2021 and, in just two years, many more women have joined County leadership. All the new faces soon, but first, a look back.
