Remove friction in the buying/starting process. And MINIMISE the decision. It’s why we like to go with “tests” in the beginning. Something easy, non-commital, but gets our foot in the door. The outcome is the same. But MUCH easier to get a yes to a test than sign contracts.

If you have a total of 60 minutes to write… Here’s how you spend your hour: • 35 minutes writing the hook • 10 minutes writing the copy • 15 minutes editing. And if you don’t know your audience? Spend another 60 minutes researching before you write the first word.

99% of the businesses I worked with hired me as a marketer. 9 out of 10 times what I did for them was not marketing. It was biz dev. That allowed better marketing. And it worked. You know why? Because their previous marketers tried to market crap. Doesn’t work that way.

Sex. Now that I got your attention… I wanna share a lesson I learned too late in my career: Don’t try to get people’s attention with something that’s unrelated to the topic. It’ll piss them off. And if you do… At the very least connect it to the topic. Like I did here.

I buy about 50 books a year. I skim most, read some, and study a select few. Here are the only books I study (reread every so often). In no order:

Like speed dating but with copywriting: Find 6 ads and analyze: • The big idea • Awareness level • Lead type • Main emotion • Objections-handled • Offer Set a timer of 10 minutes per ad. Speed-date for an hour. Pick your date and invite for a 2nd in-depth date.

Do you skip ads… Just scroll through them? I suggest you stop. Look at an ad and ask yourself how you could improve it. That’s why I find it easy to create offers and write copy in ANY niche. I’ve already done it. In my head. Do it and you’ll become powerful.

I give everything away for free. Everything I know. No filters. Know why? Because it’s not the information that’ll get you results. It’s action and experience. So it SEEMS like I’m giving you a lot. When in reality I’m giving you a little. … Unless you put it into action.
