I've had such a great day in Liverpool today for the AHRC RICHeS workshop. It was lovely to be back in my old department & discuss heritage science with so many interesting people. Of course I made time to visit my favourite haunts & catch up with the director of my first dig!

I just had a great chat with Mbetmi and Waimi from Planet Trio BCyA. It's great to see young people who love to learn about climate, and how much effort they put into sharing their knowledge with others (along with their sister, Yimi). Keep doing what you're doing, triplets! πŸƒ πŸ’§

Today I spoke with Planet Trio BCyA about why sustainability matters to militaries, and how climate informed interventions from defence can help to keep people safe and healthy. If you have a child that is interested in climate and environment, check out their videos! 🌎

A few projects have come together over the last few weeks and it's starting to feel like the risk of self-employment is paying off!

From Petra’s ancient flood defences to Neolithic rain-harvesting walls, the region has long known how to live with water, but that changed in the 20th century, argues Sarah Ashbridge thenationalnews.com/opinion/commen…

This week's work has taken me back to my roots... & my beloved postcards. Did you know that the Geneva Conventions require armed forces to protect the dignity of the enemy dead aswell as their own? Here's an example of a German grave marker for own & enemy dead from the FWW.
