A century ago, 3 women—Clara Cressingham, Carrie C. Holly, and Frances S. Klock—were elected in CO, becoming the first women elected to any legislature in the country. Because they paved the way, I'm now serving alongside a record-breaking number of women in the #118thCongress!

Pat Schroeder, the first woman elected to Congress from the State of Colorado, has passed away. Her leadership for women and families made a lasting impact, and Pat was a true trailblazer for so many of us. May her memory always be a blessing.
