Boom Radio’s hours are now 37% of the entire BBC local radio network, despite not having any FM or AM transmitters, or dense local DAB coverage, or 40+ years of heritage, or Β£100m+ of resource to throw at the output. Something has gone wrong here for sure.

The Bradley Arms, North Featherstone, #Yorkshire 🍻 This inn has a rich history and was a key location in the infamous Featherstone Massacre of 1893, the last occasion on which British troops shot and killed British citizens on English soil.

I popped down to the start at Cheltenham one day when Mad Moose was running, along with a few others (you know who you are), after he’d developed this idiosyncratic behaviour of β€˜I’ll start if I feel like it.’ We wanted to see him at close hand and offer him some encouragement

The annual jamboree of hypocritical virtue - COP30 climate conference begins in next week in Brazil. As well as ripping up trees in the Amazon rainforest to build a 8 mile highway to COP30, hundreds of delegates will arrive on private jet to tell us plebs how to save the planet.
