Some of the LBC1921s have #brain imaging data at age ~92 years, which is very rare, especially with their #cognitive data at age 11. Here's a paper which brought both LBC cohorts together to look at brain and cognitive #ageing: edin.ac/3mt7i04 Edinburgh Imaging 💙

We absolutely loved the coverage of the LBC studies on #WhoLivesInScotland last night. What a great show and with so many interesting stats, great stories and positive messages! If you missed it, it's well worth catching up here! edin.ac/3NbYvvW

@siliconsoup In the next session, Anna Fürtjes (Anna) provides systematic and quantitative evidence on the extent to which atlas choice affects findings and likely contributes to to lack of reproducibility in atlas-based research. Poster 2411

I have a new preprint! psyarxiv.com/62txs If a brain structure is associated with a cognitive task, how much of this is related to a specific cognitive domain, and how much of this is complicated by the existence of 'general intelligence' or g?🧐
