Jackson State women's basketball alum, Jariyah Covington, is reuniting with Coach Tomekia Reed, in an assistant role at Charlotte.

During her JSU playing days (2020-23), she earned All-SWAC honors and made two NCAA Tournament appearances, under Coach Reed. After graduating from Jackson State, Covington became a graduate assistant under UAPB’s Coach Erica Leak in 2024.

It’s all about timing. If it doesn’t work….It’s not the right time!
