Domestic violence advisers at Solace Women's Aid are striking to save vital support services in Tower Hamlets. I have written to their CEO demanding urgent action. These services are a lifeline for survivors. Failure to protect them is a failure to protect lives.

Thanks to the swift response from the fire brigade, fire was contained to one flat. Having spoken to the resident he is safe and was not in the building at the time. We're working with the fire service to support those affected and ensure continued fire safety.
