I launched our Levelling Up Yr 2 report,highlighting the fab work from last 24 months.

2024/2025 saw the sixth one-year settlement in a row for councils

The decision yesterday not to go ahead with the Combined #Essex Authority (devolution deal) is a great shame and a missed opportunity. Kevin Bentley did an incredible job bringing county & districts together to all back this. Hopefully they can progress together via other means.

🔵Councillors Kevin Bentley & Abi Brown, our Leader & Deputy Leader, this afternoon attended the East Midlands Councils Conservative Group meeting at Nottinghamshire County Council. We discussed our 'rebuilding the road to victory' plan and the upcoming LGA White Paper👇👇👇

✅LGA Conservatives support repealing the anti-development nutrient neutrality regulations. That is why we support the Chancellor's plans to bring forward a £110m Local Nutrient Mitigations Fund to support councils in unlocking 40,000 new homes. #AutumnStatement 👇👇👇
