Very positive reception in Westminster today. Residents hugely disappointed that Labour Councillors chose to increase rents for council tenants by 7% - the maximum allowed - on Wednesday, whilst also increasing Cabinet Members allowances by 45%. #CostOfLabour

Attended Enfield's Overview and Scrutiny Committee last night to review progress on our Local Plan. Unfortunately, it appears the Council is doubling down and wants to allow 10,000 new homes on the Green Belt and substantial housing intensification in our town centres.
