Thursday we had the amazing opportunity to spend the day with @DrCyanoHAB at the University of Kansas Field Station. The time that Dr. Ted Harris spent teaching us R programming and lake biology is something we will not soon forget!

What a difference a year can make! One year ago today, we went to the City of Wichita’s ASR to learn about water treatment. Today we’re headed to Ames, Iowa for the Great Plains Limnology to present our data about Wichita’s water supply! #GPLC2019

Meet our people: Ted Harris, Bio Survey assistant research professor, focuses on harmful algal blooms (HABs), an ongoing problem in our state. Yes, that's pond scum--or, rather, samples of HABs taken from Kansas reservoirs and studied in the tank array at the #KUFieldStation.
