Major wins for disability inclusion this week! The DOJ issued a final rule under Title II of the ADA ensuring accessible web content and mobile apps for all. This comes alongside the CMS final rule on HCBS. Tnx to the Biden Adm and tireless advocates who championed these changes!

NCD has pushed for systemic improvements to Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) for decades, understanding their necessity to make the goals of the ADA reality. Big kudos to the Biden Administration and the tireless advocates who have championed these transformative changes.

15 years ago I flew to Indianapolis with Barack Obama for his last campaign stop. We felt unexpectedly calm, knowing over the last 21 months we had done all we could do and we had faith that the American people would put their faith in him.
