Today I will vote to give victims of crime the justice they deserve. I will be making the case to end the presumption of contact where a parent is a known domestic abuser. I will do so for Claire Throssell MBE who’s sons Jack and Paul were murdered by their father, a known abuser.

My constituent, Claire Throssell MBE, tragically lost her two sons Jack and Paul after their father set the house where they were staying with him on fire. Claire is now a powerful campaigner against presumptive contact, which allowed a known domestic abuser to access Jack and Paul.

What does Keir Starmer want his legacy to be.The next gvt to continue to fail to protect children at risk of harm.Or,the gvt that has given a safer, brighter future to all who are suffering from Domestic Abuse.That they can live freely without oppression & without fear.
