City Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 27 & Friday, November 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Refuse/Recycling Collection services on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday will NOT be postponed. Thursday and Friday collection service will be postponed by one day.

The Darien Woman's Club is sponsoring a Holiday Soap and Paper Goods Drive! Donations may be dropped off thru Decmeber 18th at the following locations: Indian Prairie Library, Mark DeLay School, Concord School, Cass Junior High School & The Darien Park District.

As you get your home decorated for the winter holidays, be sure not to toss any broken holiday lights in the garbage! You can drop off your lights at the Darien Police Department at 1710 Plainfield Rd. Please do not use plastic bags, just place your lights directly in the bins.
