It is clear that all 72 deaths at Grenfell Tower were avoidable. The report exposes systemic dishonesty, negligence & complacency across government, manufacturers & social landlords. Government must act to deliver justice for the Grenfell community & finally make buildings safe.

Yesterday at the London Assembly I proposed a motion recognising our ongoing commitment to the Grenfell community which passed unanimously. Truth, justice and change must now be urgently delivered.

A year ago: Free School Meals were rolled out to every primary school pupil across London, thanks to Mayor Sadiq Khan Today, I visited my old school to see how some of the >25,000 children across Ealing & Hillingdon are benefiting. A resounding 👍👍from pupils, parents & staff!

A pleasure to visit the wonderful Miles Coverdale Schl today to mark the anniversary of universal free school meals in London🍴🍲 💰£500 a year saved per child 🤝 Supported an extra 9000 children in West Central 👍🏽 Great feedback from teachers and pupils
