With blessings from her dear and loving family: I am devastated to say that our dear friend, community leader, mentor, family member, & renowned disability activist, Tinu Abayomi-Paul aka Empress of Twerk. NO DMs Atinuki Abayomi-Paul passed away at home on Thursday morning. She is finally at rest and without pain.

Her dear & kind sister let me know on Friday, and we are in contact with them every step of the way Tinu’s close friends and I are planning several things including a virtual service and a fundraiser for her family. They are traumatized and in shock. They urgently need support.

Just know that once I stop crying regularly #ForTinu, some won’t be ready for the new me. You may have thought I was insufferable before? The systems have taken away A LOT of things I love. But Tinu hurts the most. I will burn it all down for you. I will make things better.

Nobody can convince me that heart attacks & strokes before age 50 are normal. I've been around for a long time. This is not normal. Most of my doctor colleagues agree in private that something is very, very wrong, but they won't comment publicly.

I got an insurance letter that they’re denying the only FDA approved drug for a rare disease based on their “expert review,” sir/madam I work at a place that writes expert opinions and was part of the FDA approval for said disease. It’s an easy but stupid (time wasting) appeal.
