Post Symposium Tour and Networking event

For this event, we took our Kenyan and Rwandan counterparts to the wild at L. Mburo National Park.

This was a guided tour where we got to appreciate the different animal and bird species in the park

We saw some Rions 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Our first speaker of the day was Dr. Ivan Kahwa who gave a keynote on 'Advancing Pharmacovigilance in academia; Bridging research to practice through training'

In this session he encouraged pharmacy students to take every opportunity as an opportunity to learn research

Day 2 of the 4th Edition of the Uganda Pharmaceutical Symposium was action packed.

Our moderators of the day Aturinda Philipa and Isaac Masumba our Vice President started off the chilly morning with a couple of ice breakers and brain teasers

Our Student Exchange Officer, Denis Amanya moderator the second session of the day.

The panel discussion was on how we can advance Pharmacovigilance in academia. This was to continue the discussion opened up by the key note session by Dr. Ivan Kahwa
