Let’s not forget that we’re here because law enforcement failed to take survivors seriously for decades. I’m disappointed, but not surprised by the Weinstein ruling.

While we all want fair trials, this news is devastating.

Patterns of abuse should be permitted in court.

While it does not prove a new abuse has happened, it is significant. We have learned abusers will continue to abuse until there is a boundary.

My thoughts are with every survivor who suffered at the hands of Weinstein — and bravely stood up and spoke their truth at a lengthy criminal trial.

I’m so tired of people dismissing abuse as yet another Jerry Springer divorce. Who does? Family court, some attorneys and some police officers. If you’re an abuse victim, get a team - a coach, attorney, etc. - that believes you. I do.
