Happy Chinese New Year from Manchester. These photos were shot for Chinese New Year in Manchester with CityCo Manchester, FCAM and Manchester City Council. Luckily the sun came out to illuminate the lanterns and give some great pops of colour and shadows.
The Chinese New Year in Manchester celebrations were colourful, vibrant, loud and amazing as always. The Year of the Dragon was beautiful showcased through the streets of Manchester with the Dragon Parade from FCAM and supported by CityCo Manchester and Manchester City Council.

For those wanting to avoid the crowds at the Dragon Parade on Sunday, consider coming to Chinatown on Saturday 1st February to see our illuminated night dragon instead.
