This is the summary of the top secret report delivered by Niche Health and Social Care Consulting relating to @swanseabaynhs maternity. Lots of ‘reasonable assurance’. Yet this was done when 500 women were sharing horror stories which related to every point below. Did Niche write it with their eyes closed?

Finally an inspection of a maternity service in #Wales where the inspectors actually speak to patients and witness births. Something they don’t seem to be concerned about most of the time.

Quick shout out to Sian Channon and other mums working on family led review of Maternity in Swansea Bay NHS. I have seen the surveys and report coming together and it is incredible. They are spending time trying to improve a service which harmed them and their children. Bravery.
