We recognized the "founding father" of @HuntTownHall parks, renaming Crab Meadow Golf Course after Supervisor Robert J. Flynn, the "Teddy Roosevelt" of our Town for establishing our Parks System, for which we are grateful to this day in the name of preserving open space!

We mourn the tragic loss of 13 brave servicemembers who entered dangerous conditions unfolding in Afghanistan, putting their lives in harm's way to save their fellow Americans & Afghan friends to the cause of freedom. Our flag on Veterans Plaza flies at half-staff in their honor.

I was horrified to learn of the disturbing alleged incident in Northport, as it does not reflect the overwhelming sentiment of the Town and our residents. We strongly condemn racial slurs & hatefum acts seeking to divide us & defy the welcoming atmosphere of our united community.
