Our morning announcements have gone digital! This morning was our first WKES padcast, which featured Mr. Lio and Mrs. Clark leading the morning exercises! Kudos to the WKES team! #kescougars 😃

Went to plan b on my regular lessons due to weather. Asked students to go on a fitness scavenger hunt with task cards. I am super proud of their energy and enthusiasm when we didn’t go outside. They were also asked to share with family for homework. #physed. PGCPS Phys. Ed.

Little cold out this morning. Little space, no problem. Helping our schools green school recert by integrating throwing with recycling. Kids thought it was fun too!! #physed. PGCPS Phys. Ed.

Trying to implement TDFU by having the students experiment with basic fundamental movements and rhythms. Being fun, positive and yourself was the emphasis of this lesson. PGCPS Phys. Ed. #physed

Two weeks is a long time to be off school! That doesn’t mean students should miss out on moving their bodies. Share this with parents and students as a way to get physical activity while they are home! I will post a link on our Google Classroom as well. Kara Libby @drmonicaceo

Little obstacle course to help review concepts and enhance creativity. I sent a message to parents describing the GLO’s certain parts address. (The last part is cut out but it’s a rotation/roll/weight transfer of the students choice). #physed. PGCPS Phys. Ed.

Help flexibility by moving the bucket forward every time you drench yourself. Emphasis on keeping knees on the ground and toes to the sky. #HPEatHome PGCPS Phys. Ed. PE Central

Created a water day obstacle course designed for hot summer days. Gave each grade level a list of GLO’s this can address. Had fun making it too! #HPEatHome PGCPS Phys. Ed. PE Central PGCPS
