The Government encourages its use in all public interest cases as a mechanism for private entities but then chooses to ignore it itself. That is the anger.

Niamh this issue can’t be let drag on any longer,thirteen years waiting.

They remain available. Further industrial action - a last resort - seems inevitable at this point.

The DEASP expect #cesupervisors to sign annual contracts each year. Some Supervisors have 30 plus years in the role. This hinders loan and mortgage applications, offers little job security. Another example of the mistreatment of this worker group by successive governments.
