In our latest paper we solve a 30 years old conundrum. We finally demonstrate that the voltage-sensing domain 3 of Cav1.1 channel exclusively controls skeletal muscle excitation-contraction coupling. Thank you Simone, Bernhard and the CavX network for a great team effort!
