First draft of #book3 delivered to my publisher this morning. This has been a hard slog, written in dribs and drabs around other edits, and a lot of life stuff. So glad to get it off my to-do list for now.

This was the course which set me on track to be a writer and I'm now in a three-book deal with my second novel coming out in November. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I haven’t read any John Boyne since The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas but loved the cover so picked this up on a whim. Wow. Just loved it. Great set-up, brilliantly disturbing characters (I do love a ‘bad’ female character) and satisfying ending. #bookrecommendations
