There is no reasonable amount of time you could spend doing a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy that would justify the risks of doing one open. Patients deserve TLH. If you can’t do one, refer! ajog.org/article/S0002-…

This statement reflects that most OB/gyns simply do not know what we can do. Our division does >98% of surgeries MIS. This should be the standard. The data on laparotomy is clear - higher morbidity and mortality. Should use only for onc and special scenarios. AAGL Society of Gynecologic Surgeons

March is #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth, dedicated to advocating for the 190 million women worldwide who suffer from endometriosis. Thank you to Taylor Keefe for sharing her own endometriosis story with us on Good Morning America - a story not uncommon, but often untold. Reporting by yours truly🎗️

Love to see this call to action that promotes surgical ergonomics for all surgeons - even those with small hands! Crucial to start by advancing diverse individuals into surgical leadership positions. Cara R. King, DO, MS, FACOG, FACS @rosanne_kho journals.lww.com/greenjournal/C…
