Because people were surprised when I said this yesterday here it is again: It takes 2 years of unaccredited training (not medical training) to become a PA, science background not essential. It takes at least 12 years of medical and specialist training to become a surgeon.

Just watched a Labour MP do a double fist pump as the vote to remove the winter fuel payment from pensioners was passed by Parliament.

I just voted against the means-testing of Winter Fuel Payments. I cannot stand idly by and see austerity 2.0 implemented. This is not the change people voted for.

I’m sorry but these are not “tough decisions” for politicians. They are tough decisions for those forced to choose between heating their homes and eating.
