Calling for a ceasefire, the return of hostages and access to humanitarian aid is a human ask. What makes it a political one is framing it as a choice. It shouldn't be a choice; it should be the default.

Today is one of the most shameful days in British history.

We must never forget each and every politician who voted against a ceasefire, or abstained, has blood on their hands.

They will never know peace.
