💛 Boys & Love 💛

Today with our newest school group, we explored love of community. Firstly, we discussed the local area where the students are from, talking about hobbies and passions, as well as experiences of racism and isolation.

Together, we explored some of the history

Reminder that some of the most sacred and spiritually clear people we have, have been/are institutionalised or incarcerated. That some of our most holiest spaces are our youth and communities centres, the streets and ends. Morality & normativity framed by oppression to dominate

We cannot do trauma informed work w/out political & structural analysis because oppression is traumatising. Anything less is trauma inducing. Traumatic responses are adaptive to context so we need contextual coherence & locating. The past, present & emerging contexts inform it.

Our friends at INQUEST & our incredible film fam have this event tonight with a few tickets to spare. Critical conversations and documentation on resisting state violence
