The “JC” pinstripe suit may just be the coolest suit we’ve seen! The fabric was a gift to Pres. Carter from British Prime Minister James Callahan. President Carter had the fabric made into a suit by his tailor in Bowden, GA, Larry Plunkett. Object 77.1372.1-.3 #ArchivesPatterns

We found one of our favorite #ArchivesPatterns! This fabulous 1970s plaid dress was worn by First Lady Rosalynn Carter at a holiday party at the Mondales’ on December 18, 1977. The Carters donated it to the museum in 1984. Object: 84.7.535.a-b
