I used #EMC2learning resource AI Artwork Anarchy today and the Ss had so much fun! They used a website to turn their drawings into artwork. They asked if they could do it again right away.

I love #EMC2learning Pillar Builder activity for practicing thesis statements. My Ss are engaged all class writing thesis statements so they can build a temple. And of course the tallest one falls seconds before the buzzer, which makes another team very happy!

#emc2learning Big Sheet Track Meet is a fun way to review concepts. It gets students up and moving and they learn a lot from creating the questions.

My students are having fun exploring with Gimkit creative! It’s perfect for a year end assignment as well, thank you!

I’ve been doing Grammar Olympics this week with my Ss. The final event is #eduprotocols random emoji paragraph relay. All Ss write for the emoji, then pass their computers & continue with the next emoji. There were lots of laughs reading each other’s stories!

I completed a #emc2learning skill builder course about Chat GPT today. I especially enjoyed the bells and whistles lesson, great ideas in there! I look forward to using these ideas in my classroom and doing the other Chat GPT courses.

I completed the skill builder course on group work from #emc2learning I love the power of working in groups in my year long gamified class, but now I’m thinking about how to use long term groups in my class that isn’t gamified.

Getting ready for the new school year by sending out postcards to my students. I write them a note and include a scratch card for my game. #gamemyclass

First day of school today and my classroom game began with a blindfolded 3 legged race scavenger hunt around the school. #gamemyclass

A fun Gimkit I like to do with my Ss is 3 truths and 1 lie. We use kit collab to have each student submit a question about themselves to make the kit. Then we play the kit and Ss learn lots about their classmates😊

My grade 8 Ss cheered when I told them they were doing the #eduprotocols Worst Preso Ever assignment. Every year the Ss have fun doing this and it’s a great way to teach them how to do a proper presentation.

Best way to keep my Ss engaged on a Friday is have one of them be kidnapped by pirates & have them complete a #emc2learning #qrbreakin to save him. As a class they had to complete 24 activities in 1 hr to save him. They did it & were very excited!

This is the best investment I’ve ever made into my student’s learning. I use their activities daily and it’s well worth the price.

This week I used my 2 favorite #emc2learning resources. Coin crasher for getting my Ss to do tons of math questions as they have fun with stocks. And my Ss always enjoy Sundown showdown. It’s a great week long activity to do after reading a novel.
