Cancer52, along with many other cancer charities, are calling on all political parties to commit to supporting a long-term cancer strategy to improve cancer outcomes in England. People affected by rare & less common cancer need a plan #OneCancerVoice

Great to join such an inspirational bunch, receiving Gilead's and Kite's #LookAndYouWillCUs grant awards, and to see the thought and priority that’s being given to health inequalities in rare and less common cancers.

Welcome Wes Streeting MP to your new role. A note from the 47% of people with cancer who have a rare or less common cancer. As the spokesperson for the 115 charities in this sector we wrote up what’s needed. Our manifesto is here cancer52.org.uk/single-post/ca… and we’d love to talk!

We welcome legislation, confirmed in the #KingsSpeech today, to raise the age on the sale of cigarettes and limit the sale and marketing of vapes. Smoking is often associated with causing lung cancer, but actually many more rare and less common cancers are linked to tobacco use.
